Aircraft Galley Design Architect
We are seeking an experienced and innovative Aircraft Galley Architect to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in aircraft interior design, specifically focusing on galley architecture, and will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing state-of-the-art galley systems.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in aerospace engineering, Mechanical engineering.
• Extensive experience on Aircraft Interior & Galley design.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in aircraft interior design and incorporate innovative solutions into galley designs.
• Lead the design and development of aircraft galley systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, and quality assurance, to ensure seamless integration of galley systems.
• Knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes used in aircraft interiors.
• Prepare detailed design documentation, including CAD drawings, specifications, and technical reports.
• Ensure all designs meet regulatory requirements and safety standards.
• Oversee projects from concept to completion, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
• Competent in designing & taking design responsibility of Machined and Composite parts.
• In depth knowledge on Trolleys design and Galley Structure Design and attachments used in Galleys.
• In depth knowledge on Inserts, Brackets and stowage’s to accommodate (Oven, Beverage Maker etc.) in Galley.
• Understanding of Stress requirements & coordinate with stress team for design iteration.
• Knowledge on plumbing design and electrical Harness will be an added advantage.
• Knowledge on Refrigeration & Cooling will be an added advantage
• Approved Design Signatory for Galley Desing will be an added advantage.
• Good knowledge of GD&T will be an added advantage.
• Proficiency on French & German language is an added advantage.
• Good Verbal and written English skills.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., CATIA), knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes used in aircraft interiors.
Project Management: Proven experience in managing large-scale projects, including budgeting and scheduling.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly and effectively.
New Technologies: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen adopt digital transformation using AI methodologies.
10-15 years of experience in aircraft interior design, with a focus on galley architecture.
