Business Analyst - Retail Banking - Offshore - 8+ years experience

• Requirements Validation: Reviewing and ensuring that the business requirements are accurately captured in the testing phase. The BA verifies that all requirements have corresponding test cases.

• Creating Test Scenarios: Developing test scenarios and test cases based on business requirements to ensure comprehensive coverage. These are used by the QA team or stakeholders during UAT.

• Supporting Test Case Development: Helping QA teams understand the business processes and workflows, so they can create more accurate and relevant test cases.

• Test Data Preparation: Identifying and creating relevant data needed to test different scenarios, ensuring it reflects real-world usage.

• UAT Planning and Execution: Coordinating and supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by creating scripts, preparing end-users for testing, and ensuring that feedback is accurately captured and resolved.

• Defect Tracking and Resolution: Reviewing defects identified during testing, working with developers to address issues, and confirming the solution works as intended.

• Regression Testing: Ensuring that new changes don’t break existing functionality by participating in or supporting regression testing.

• Documentation: Creating and maintaining test documentation, such as traceability matrices, test case specifications, and requirement coverage reports.

Essential:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Knowledge of Business Analysis

Desirable:

• Additional course or certification in Business Analysis.
