We are seeking an experienced Senior Cloud Engineer who brings a strong background in AWS Cloud.

As a key member of our technology team, he has to play a crucial role in architecting, implementing, and optimizing our cloud-based infrastructure and DevOps practices. 

Your depth of experience will drive the successful deployment, monitoring, and management of our systems.

Position Summary:    

• Roles in this Grade are experienced and tenured professionals, with proven depth in a specific area of professional knowledge.
• They have a good understanding of the business, financials, products/ services and the market and their activities have a measurable influence on the financial/ operational performance of the business including managing people. At this level, they may be responsible for a functional area and not have any subordinate employees.  
• We are looking for a Senior Cloud Engineer to join our team and architect and design application and infrastructure solutions leveraging advanced cloud solutions and design principles. 
• Solutions support digital products aimed at advancing patient interactions, patient care and internal operations and analytics. 
• Work closely with development teams to help them produce high-quality software by providing reliable CI/CD and testing infrastructures.
• Work closely with product management on our cloud offerings.
• Pro-actively implement practices to increase quality and productivity.

Documentation and Knowledge Sharing:

1. Document architecture, designs, and processes to maintain a well-documented knowledge base.
2. Share expertise and knowledge with the team, fostering a culture of continuous learning.

• Minimum of 3 to 6 years of professional experience in IT, with at least 3+ years focused on DevOps, good knowledge of Windows and/or Linux operating systems and experience with CI/CD tools and cloud providers.

• Experience: 3+ years of DevOps or SW development with automation or other overlap.
• Expertise in Windows and/or Linux, including shell scripting.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (GitLab CI, Jenkins).
• Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) or other cloud providers.
• Proficient usage of English.

• Experience with Infrastructure as a Code (Puppet, Ansible, Terraform).
• Expertise in network topologies and common network protocols and services (DNS, HTTP(S), SSH, FTP, SMTP).
• Experience with VMware virtualization technologies.
• Experience with Docker and related orchestration technologies (Kubernetes, EKS).
• Knowledge of other programming languages besides shell.
• Experience with some of the following technologies: ELK, Prometheus, Grafana.

A qualified candidate must demonstrate a minimum of 3 to 6 years of experience in DevOps environments, proficiency in Windows and/or Linux operating systems, and established expertise with CI/CD tools and cloud service providers. The successful applicant will exhibit proven capability in driving complex projects through all phases to successful completion.
