Project Manager -TCOE for Banking Project
We are seeking a highly experienced Project Manager to lead the Testing Center of Excellence (TCOE) initiative for a large-scale banking transformation project. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing centralized testing functions, standardizing QA processes, and ensuring alignment of test strategy with business goals across the enterprise.
Lead the TCOE setup and governance, ensuring alignment with enterprise QA objectives, test policies, and tools.
Define and manage test strategy, test governance framework, and metrics across projects in the banking domain.
Work closely with QA leads, business stakeholders, delivery managers, and external vendors to drive testing excellence.
Manage the planning and execution of functional, regression, performance, security, and automation testing across various programs.
Establish and enforce best practices in test processes, tools, environment management, and defect triaging.
Drive implementation of test automation frameworks, test data management, and reusable assets.
Track test progress, risks, and dependencies across portfolios using dashboards, KPIs, and QA scorecards.
Conduct regular QA reviews, audits, and process maturity assessments (e.g., TMMi).
Support capacity planning, budgeting, and resource management for the TCOE.
Ensure test environments and tools are provisioned and maintained in coordination with infra and dev teams.
Report regularly to senior leadership on quality metrics, risk posture, and delivery timelines.
PMP / Prince2 / Agile PM certification
ISTQB Advanced Test Manager or equivalent
Proven experience managing enterprise testing programs or TCOE implementations in the banking or financial services industry.
Strong knowledge of banking domains such as core banking, digital channels, lending, cards, payments, treasury, or risk.
Experience with test management tools (e.g., HP ALM, JIRA, TestRail), and automation tools (e.g., Selenium, UFT, Tosca).
Hands-on experience with Agile, DevOps, and CI/CD-based delivery models.
Strong project management skills – planning, budgeting, risk management, stakeholder communication.
