Overview

Lead Business Analyst - Finacle for Banking Project

 

 Lead Business Analyst with in-depth knowledge of the Finacle core banking system to lead requirement gathering, solution design, and stakeholder coordination for a banking transformation or upgrade program. The ideal candidate will act as a bridge between business users and technical teams to ensure successful delivery of Finacle modules and integrations.

Responsibilities

 

    • Lead end-to-end business analysis for Finacle implementation, upgrade, or customization projects.

    • Engage with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements, functional specifications, and user stories.

    • Conduct impact assessments for changes related to Finacle modules (CASA, Loans, Payments, Trade Finance, CRM, etc.).

    • Coordinate with product vendors, technical teams, and QA to ensure functional alignment and traceability.

    • Facilitate workshops, walkthroughs, and requirement validation sessions.

    • Define business process flows, BRDs, FSDs, and ensure compliance with bank’s standards and regulatory guidelines.

    • Act as the primary liaison for change requests, issue resolution, and stakeholder communications.

    • Support SIT and UAT by helping with test case reviews, business scenario validation, and defect triaging.

    • Provide leadership to a team of business analysts, mentoring and reviewing their work as needed.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Finance, IT, or related field

Essential skills

  • Deep functional knowledge of Finacle modules (e.g., Core, Loans, Payments, Trade Finance, CRM, Internet/Mobile Banking).

  • Experience in requirement gathering, business process design, and documentation for Finacle implementations or upgrades.

  • Familiarity with Finacle customizations, interfaces, batch processing, and EOD/COB cycles.

  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Experience

8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in the banking domain, with minimum 4 years working specifically on Finacle projects (version 10.x/11.x).
