Senior Business analyst - Finacle for Banking Project

Senior Business Analyst with hands-on experience in Finacle core banking system upgrades, particularly from version 10.x to 11.x. The role involves managing business requirements, impact analysis, and ensuring alignment between business expectations and technical implementation throughout the upgrade lifecycle.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, and validate business requirements related to the Finacle upgrade.

• Analyze existing system functionalities in Finacle 10.x and assess impact of migration to 11.x on business processes and interfaces.

• Create and maintain Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Specification Documents (FSDs), and gap/impact analysis reports.

• Act as a liaison between business users, technical teams, and Finacle vendor to ensure accurate solution delivery.

• Define and map business process flows, identify areas of change, and propose optimized solutions aligned with Finacle 11.x capabilities.

• Coordinate and support SIT/UAT planning, including scenario creation, validation, and user onboarding.

• Track and manage change requests, enhancements, and related documentation.

• Provide support during data migration, configuration validation, and cutover planning.

• Conduct workshops and walkthroughs with business and IT teams.

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Solid understanding of banking operations such as core banking, payments, lending, trade finance, or digital banking.

• Strong experience in requirements elicitation, documentation, and stakeholder engagement.

• Proficiency in tools like JIRA, Confluence, Visio, MS Office, etc.

Domain knowledge of core banking platforms like T24, Finacle, Flexcube, or similar.

• 6+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in banking domain, with at least 3 years focused on Finacle projects.
