Senior Data Migration Tester -Finacle for Banking Project

Senior Data Engineer with strong experience in Finacle core banking systems and expertise in handling large-scale data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) activities. The candidate will play a key role in data integration, migration, reporting, and analytics initiatives involving Finacle data sources.

• Design, build, and optimize data pipelines and ETL workflows to ingest, transform, and deliver Finacle data to downstream systems or data warehouses.

• Work closely with functional teams to understand Finacle database schemas, data models, and business logic.

• Develop and maintain source-to-target mapping documents, transformation rules, and reconciliation logic.

• Support data migration, archival, and data quality validation activities during core banking transformation or upgrade programs.

• Collaborate with QA, BA, and DBA teams to troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues.

• Ensure data pipelines are scalable, performant, and compliant with data governance and regulatory requirements.

• Automate repetitive tasks using scripting languages and schedule jobs using orchestration tools.

• Develop data models for reporting, BI dashboards, and operational analytics on Finacle data.

Experience in Finacle upgrade or replacement projects (e.g., Finacle 10.x to 11.x).

• Strong SQL skills and hands-on experience with Oracle or DB2, including Finacle table structures.

• Proficiency in ETL tools such as Informatica, Talend, DataStage, or equivalent.

• Experience with Unix/Linux scripting for automation and job scheduling (e.g., Control-M, Autosys).

• Familiarity with Finacle modules like CASA, Loans, Payments, Trade Finance, CRM.

• Strong understanding of data governance, data quality, and reconciliation frameworks.

6+ years of experience in data engineering or ETL development, with at least 3 years working with Finacle or similar core banking systems.
