Electrical Wiring Harness Engineer

The Electrical Wiring Harness Engineer will have a broad electrical engineering background as well as strong proficiency in CAD & PLM tools and have ability to tackle difficult engineering problems.

Experience in enclosure / cabinet structures is preferred.

Key roles and responsibilities for the Electrical Wiring Harness Engineer include:

      •Experience in creation of wiring harness drawing using PTC Creo.

• Able to develop parametric 3D CAD models in PTC Creo for wiring designs by referring to STEP/Parasolid files, engineering drawings, specifications, related data independently and in conjunction Fluence battery enclosure & rack design engineering.
• Manage Bill of Materials and CAD data within Windchill software.
• Capability of creating electrical Single line, three-line diagram and schematics using AUTOCAD electrical tool will be added advantage
• Experience of working with electrical symbol library.
• Knowledge of the creation of customized library symbols, symbol builder and applying proper attributes.
• Knowledge of IEC and UL(JIC) symbols. Working experience with IEC standards for creation of wiring drawings is required.
• Monitor the production of drawings to maintain quality and accuracy.
• Present design solutions to key stakeholders, defending design decisions, incorporating design feedback into the design cycle.

Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.

• Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD Electrical, Creo).
• Must have exposure to BESS schematics creation and 3D harness drawings.
• He/she should be strong in wiring harness concepts like connector selection, fuse, wire size etc. determination.
• Proficient with Microsoft office.
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills.
• Maintain a positive attitude with team.

Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.

• Minimum 3 years of working experience in electrical drawing creations, Cable harness design and wiring design using Creo.
• Proficiency in CAD software (Creo , AutoCAD Electrical).
• Must have exposure to BESS schematics creation and 3D harness drawings.
• He/she should be strong in wiring harness concepts like connector selection, fuse, wire size etc. determination.
• Proficient with Microsoft office.
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills.

Minimum 5 to 7 years of working experience in electrical drawing creations, Cable harness design and wiring design using Creo.
