Overview

We are seeking a dynamic professional to lead the implementation of Siemens Teamcenter PLM and Active Workspace Client (AWC) as both a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and Project Manager. This role combines deep technical expertise with strategic project leadership to ensure successful deployment and adoption of PLM solutions across the enterprise.

Responsibilities

Technical (SME) Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, configuration, and customization of Teamcenter PLM and AWC.
  • Translate business requirements into scalable PLM solutions.
  • Develop and maintain Teamcenter extensions using ITK, SOA, and AWC customization frameworks.
  • Oversee data migration, validation, and integration with ERP/CAD systems.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to development and support teams.
  • Ensure system performance, security, and compliance with enterprise standards.

Project Management Responsibilities:

  • Define and manage the PLM implementation roadmap, scope, and deliverables.
  • Lead cross-functional teams including developers, analysts, testers, and business stakeholders.
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, risks, and resource allocation.
  • Coordinate with vendors and Siemens support for escalations and enhancements.
  • Drive change management, training, and user adoption initiatives.
  • Report project status and KPIs to senior leadership and stakeholders.

 

Qualifications

  • Graduate or Engineering Degree or equivalent.
  • Experience in manufacturing, automotive, aerospace, or electronics industries.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and PLM deployment automation.
  • Knowledge of data governance and digital thread concepts.

Essential skills

  • 8+ years of experience in Teamcenter PLM implementation, with at least 3 years in a project leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of Teamcenter modules (BMIDE, Workflow Designer, Structure Manager, etc.).
  • Hands-on experience with AWC customization and deployment.
  • Proficiency in ITK, Java, SOA, and XML.
  • Experience with CAD and ERP integrations.
  • Proven track record in managing complex PLM projects using Agile or Waterfall methodologies.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
  • PMP or equivalent certification is a plus.
