Overview

The Learning and Development lead (with min 7-10yrs of exp)  will be responsible for the delivery of Professional development courses and training programs for all our employees and providing administrative support for learning and development programs/initiatives. Ideally, the candidate should have great interpersonal skills to build partnerships and credibility with internal clients. Interact with managers to identify training and skill development needs and be able to educate employees by explaining possible growth paths expected from career/skills development programs, and motivate them.

Responsibilities

  • Interfaces with L&D's internal customers on understanding and caters to their Learning requirements.
  • Understands customer needs in a way that appropriate learning solutions can be suggested to the customer.
  • Delivers behavioral training programs.
  • Works closely with counterparts from other locations/entities.
  • Establishes networks and build a relationship with internal customers, stakeholders, and team members within the organization.
  • Assists L&D Manager in,
    • Audits
    • Driving L&D Initiatives
    • MIS preparation
  • Monitor and manage the quality of training delivery and build Facilitator pool in the region.
  • Vendor Management
  • Adjusts quickly to shifting priorities, multiple demands, ambiguity, and rapid change.
  • Participates in organizational change efforts.

Qualifications

Any Degree from a reputed institute.

Essential skills

 

  • Have a strong working knowledge of L&D foundation concepts and processes.
  • Demonstrated functional knowledge of training needs assessment, training delivery, post-training evaluation, L&D operations.
  • Have working knowledge of MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.
  • Possess strong and demonstrable presentation and facilitation skills and be able to handle multiple audiences.
  • Possess excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Have excellent written and spoken English skills.
  • Have an eye for detail and take end-to-end ownership of deliverables.

Training Delivery:

  • Facilitate soft skills training sessions through various delivery methods such as classroom instruction, virtual training platforms, workshops, and seminars.
  • Employ adult learning principles and best practices to ensure the transfer of knowledge and skills to participants in an engaging and impactful manner.
  • Adapt training content and delivery methods to accommodate the needs of different audiences, including employees at various levels and locations within the organization.

 

Training Program Development:

  • Collaborate with L&D team members, subject matter experts, and departmental leaders to identify training needs and develop comprehensive soft skills training programs.
  • Design engaging and interactive training materials, presentations, and activities tailored to meet the diverse learning styles and preferences of participants.
  • Utilize instructional design principles to create effective learning experiences that align with organizational goals and objectives.

 

Performance Evaluation:

  • Assess the effectiveness of soft skills training programs through participant feedback, evaluations, and performance metrics.
  • Continuously monitor and evaluate the success of training initiatives, making recommendations for improvements and adjustments as needed.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to measure the impact of training on individual and team performance, identifying areas for further development and support.
