We are seeking a skilled and motivated Design Engineer with exceptional expertise in CATIA surface modelling and plastic product design. The ideal candidate should possess a strong understanding of manufacturing processes, problem-solving capabilities, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Experience in automotive lighting design will be considered a significant advantage.
Develop complex 3D surface and solid models using CATIA in compliance with project and customer requirements.
Design and develop plastic components, ensuring manufacturability and tooling feasibility.
Apply sound engineering principles, DFM/DFA guidelines, and relevant design standards.
Prepare, analyze, and interpret technical reports, documentation, and presentations in line with company and regulatory design rules.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (manufacturing, quality, testing, suppliers) to address design challenges and drive continuous improvements.
Support design validation, prototype development, and production implementation.
Provide innovative design solutions with a focus on quality, cost, and performance.
(Preferred) Contribute to automotive lighting projects, including design, packaging, and component integration
Diploma in Mechanical / Automobile Engineering or
Post Diploma in Tool Design or
B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical / Automobile Engineering
Engineer – Category A: 2 to 4 years of relevant design experience
Senior Engineer – Category B: 5 to 7 years of relevant design experience
Experience in aerospace or automotive component design.
Knowledge of drawing release processes and engineering change management.
Certification or formal training in GD&T or CATIA V5 Drafting.
