General Insurance - Senior Test Engineer

• Analyze business requirements and translate them into detailed test plans and test cases.
• Execute functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing across insurance platforms.
• Lead test automation efforts using tools like Selenium, TestNG, or similar frameworks.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product owners to ensure test coverage aligns with business needs.
• Log, track, and manage defects using tools like JIRA, Zephyr, or TestRail.
• Participate in requirement walkthroughs, sprint planning, and defect triages.
• Provide mentorship to junior QA engineers and promote best practices in testing.
• Ensure compliance with insurance regulations and data privacy standards.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and integrate automated tests into the development lifecycle.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in software testing, with at least 7+ years in the insurance domain.
• Strong understanding of insurance workflows (Policy Issuance, Claims, Renewals, Endorsements).
• Experience with DXC Assure InsuranceSuite (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter) is a plus.
• Proficiency in test automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Java, C#).
• Familiarity with API testing using Postman, SoapUI, or similar tools.
