Overview

As a Perception/ADAS Function Owner(FO), you will be expected to understand the capabilities and limitations of your assigned features. You will be required to
work with the project team and the customer to agree optimal solutions for the automotive functions. Examples of such functions include: pedestrian detection,
structure from motion, lane detection, parking slot detection, targetless trailer tracking, object detection, sensor calibration(camera,LiDAR,etc) and classification
& scene understanding.

Responsibilities

• Strong Communicator
To be an effective FO, concise communications is key within the SW team itself and across the other Function Owners delivering within the project
• Function Development
Guide the development of computer vision algorithms(feature) to ensure they meet customer expectations
Work with algorithm project leaders to ensure customer issues and bugs are prioritised appropriately in advance of customer releases and avoid escalations
Work closely with the designated test engineers and be aware of the feature performance in all (automotive) conditions
• Customer Relations
Lead customer workshops to assess feature performance, capture issues and engage the team to propose solutions
Represent the CV team at the customer level as required
Supports P1 FO for customer interface in Computer Vision issues
Engage the customer to understand their requirements
Ensure regular communication with the customer to ensure alignment of expectations and risks for each feature release
• Detailed scheduling and Reporting
Inform the customer/PM/PL about the status and the development plan of the feature
Contribute to the identification of the needs in terms of resources
Work with project managers, software project leads and customer to agree the feature development plan
Deliver SW functions on time, within scope
• Management of the contributors
Create tasks and work packages for the functions
Aligns with Embedded, Algorithm and Test teams contributing to the Function development

Qualifications

Minimum Degree in engineering preferably in the fields of electronics / computer science
Master of Science in Computer sciences or Software Engineering or equivalent domain preferable

Essential skills

• Strong communication skills and good documentation skills
• Knowledge of ASPICE SYS2, SWE1, function requirements, function breakdown
• Understanding of computer vision algorithms, perception or ADAS functions
• High level of innovation and motivation
• Strong interpersonal skills, flexibility, and focus on results
• Strong leadership skills / potential
• Good coordination across teams

Experience

5 year of exp in automotive, Min 3 years of relevant professional experience in ADAS
