Serial Life Quality Management ( Powertrain)
1. A Serial Life Quality Manager has to carry out the following activities on a worldwide perimeter:
2. Manage the quality convergence plan - according to the allocated resources -to achieve the objectives defined by the quality contracting authority (QUAL & PRSQ).
3. Make a projection of quality results of his field of activity. Breakdown indicators, Failure indicators (3MIS - 12 MIS & 24 MIS), warranty costs (24 MIS & 60 MIS), built regarding current results and
improvements implemented.
4. Mobilize and coordinate core team stakeholders when dealing with Top Q & standard priority issues, especially for crisis.
5. To mobilize and coordinate with core team stakeholders when dealing with TOP10 issues from the Regions.
6. Ensure that production non-conformities are handled by the factory quality services.
7. Synthesize a Risk Assessment in the case of a "Safety Alert Sheet".
8. Identify potential modernization campaigns and document them toward QUAL.
9. Ensure that Lesson Learned elements from serial life quality are taken into account by projects under development.
10. During the launch phase of a project, organize with the PQM (before the MPTR milestone) the transfer of the quality file to serial life.
Bachelor’s/master’s degree in mechanical or automotive engineering.
6 to 8 years of experience in Powertrain automotive quality, manufacturing, or product engineering, with exposure to serial life or launch quality
