Sr. DG Solution Architect
We are looking for a Senior Data Governance Solution Architect who can lead data consulting, solution design, and delivery for multiple clients supporting data practice role. This role requires strong technical skills along with the ability to engage with customers, support presales teams, and help win new business. You will work with clients and internal teams to design data governance strategy, frameworks, solutioning and implementation of data governance, catalogs, data quality, lineage, privacy and security and AI Governance. Ability to learn and acquire the new skills quickly and a pro-active with strong problem solving capability. Should have done multiple end to end data governance, data quality implementations. Experience with Banking customers is plus.
Define and lead enterprise data governance architecture aligned with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
Design end-to-end data governance frameworks, including:
Data ownership and stewardship models
Policies, standards, and controls
Operating models and governance workflows
Translate business and regulatory requirements into scalable technical governance solutions.
Advise clients on data governance maturity models and roadmap development.
Lead end-to-end implementation of data governance solutions using:
Collibra Data Intelligence Cloud (Catalog, Governance, Lineage, Privacy & Risk, AI Governance)
Informatica (IDMC, Axon, Enterprise Data Catalog, Data Quality, MDM integrations)
Architect and implement:
Data cataloging and metadata management
Business glossary and policy management
Technical and business lineage
Data quality rules, scorecards, and issue management
Privacy, consent, and sensitive data classification
Integrate Collibra and Informatica with cloud data platforms and enterprise systems.
Ensure solutions are secure, scalable, and aligned with modern data architectures.
Design governance solutions for modern data stacks, including:
Cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, GCP
Data warehouses/lakehouses: Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, Redshift, Synapse
Data lakes and streaming platforms
BI and analytics tools
Enable governance-by-design across CI/CD pipelines, data ingestion, and analytics workflows.
Integrate governance with data engineering, analytics, and AI/ML platforms.
Design and implement AI Governance frameworks, including:
Model metadata management
Data lineage for AI/ML pipelines
Responsible AI controls and compliance
Implement data privacy and security governance, including:
PII identification and classification
Regulatory compliance (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, BCBS, SOX)
Role-based access, policy enforcement, and auditability
Act as a lead architect and trusted advisor for client engagements.
Conduct workshops and discovery sessions with business, data, and IT stakeholders.
Provide architectural guidance, best practices, and thought leadership.
Lead and mentor delivery teams (architects, developers, consultants).
Ensure successful delivery across multiple concurrent client engagements.
Support pre-sales activities, including:
Solution architecture and design
RFP/RFI responses
Technical presentations and demos
Collaborate with sales and leadership to shape data governance offerings.
Contribute to practice assets, accelerators, reference architectures, and reusable frameworks.
Stay current on Collibra, Informatica, and modern data ecosystem trends.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).
10+ years of overall data and analytics experience.
5+ years in data governance, data management, or metadata management roles.
Proven experience delivering multiple end-to-end data governance implementations.
Strong hands-on experience with:
Collibra Data Intelligence Cloud
Informatica (IDMC, Axon, EDC, EDQ)
Experience working with banking or financial services clients is a strong plus.
Deep expertise in:
Data Governance, Data Catalog, Metadata Management
Data Quality, Lineage, and Master/Reference Data concepts
Privacy, Security, and Regulatory Compliance
Strong understanding of modern data architectures and cloud-native platforms.
Experience integrating governance tools with:
Data warehouses, lakehouses, ETL/ELT tools, BI platforms
Knowledge of APIs, metadata ingestion, and automation frameworks.
Strong client-facing and consulting skills with executive-level communication ability.
Proven ability to lead architecture discussions and influence stakeholders.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to learn new tools and technologies quickly.
Self-driven, proactive, and comfortable working in fast-paced environments.

Required Qualifications
Experience supporting presales, proposal writing, and RFP/RFI responses in an IT services environment.
Exposure to AI/ML solution architectures and integrating AI capabilities within data ecosystems.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to operate in multi-client, multi-domain environments.
