Overview

ELECTRICAL DESIGN ENGINEER

Responsibilities

     • The candidate will oversee Electrical Design, Developing, and support the technical work for Air Treatment product portfolio, which includes the different types of Compressed Air dryers and chillers.
• The candidate will support and execute the engineering work and keep alignment with ongoing assignments, by considering technicality, time and Quality requirements. As well candidate meets the First pass yield and on time delivery.
• Engage with Global key stakeholders and meet the business partner’s expectations.
• Maintain all design documents for Design verification and communicate with the required stakeholder.
• Select all Electrical panel components, Layout, Wiring diagram and work with supplier to optimize the system cost and design.
• Execute the DFMEA, RCA of design problems as on project need.

Qualifications

• Masters /bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field.

Essential skills

• Minimum 3+ Years of experience with Industrial products with P&ID, Electric Wiring Diagram / Control logics – operational philosophy.
• Expertise in E-Plan, AutoCAD- 3+ Years of hands-on experience required.
• Proficient in creating/updating the control panel wiring diagrams, and selecting & sizing key of components like switch gear, fuse, transformers, breakers, cables etc.
• Must understand EU regulation compliance required for Electrical System and learn, implement new regulation as on need of projects

Desired skills

• Understanding of Electrical & Instrumentation drawings – Instrument Index, Instrument Datasheet, Cable Schedule, Cable Lay Out, Hookup Diagrams.
• Understanding of Cable sizing & layout / Electrical components selection criteria & panel layout.
• knowledge of Panels design with Flammable Gas/Refrigerant Protection and Safety consideration as per regulation.
• Proficient in overseeing the product development cycle and adept at managing modifications throughout the product's lifespan.
• Well-versed in compliance with regulatory standards on Electrical Subsystem and safety review.
• In-depth understanding of design and manufacturing concepts.
• Capable of accurately estimating product costs from an engineering perspective.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Competent in resolving disputes and employing critical thinking to address challenges effectively.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex technical information to stakeholders.

Experience

• Overall experience of 3-6 years in relevant field.
• worked in reputed capital equipment company.
