Job Title: Mainframe Expert – Developer and Technical Analyst
Location: Chennai, India
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, maintain, and enhance mainframe applications using COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2, and related technologies.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into detailed technical specifications.
- Act as a Technical Analyst to evaluate system functionality, identify gaps, and recommend improvements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex mainframe issues, ensuring high system reliability and performance.
- Collaborate with business and technical teams to deliver high-quality solutions aligned with requirements.
Required Skills & Qualifications :
- Strong hands-on experience in mainframe development and operations.
- Proven experience as a Technical Analyst on mainframe systems, including requirement analysis, solution design, and issue resolution.
- Deep understanding of mainframe architecture, batch processing, and system integration.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Experience as a lead or expert mainframe developer/analyst is a plus.
