We are seeking a skilled PostgreSQL Developer with at least 2+ years of experience in database development and optimization using PostgreSQL. The candidate will be responsible for designing database structures, writing efficient SQL queries, and ensuring optimal database performance for business applications.
Design, develop, and maintain databases using PostgreSQL
Write, optimize, and troubleshoot complex SQL queries
Develop stored procedures, triggers, and functions
Perform database performance tuning and query optimization
Manage database schema design, indexing, and partitioning
Support data migration and ETL processes
Implement backup, restore, and disaster recovery procedures
Collaborate with developers, QA teams, and DevOps engineers
Monitor and maintain database health and performance
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
Minimum 2+ years of experience in database development
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
2+ years of hands-on experience with PostgreSQL
Strong knowledge of SQL and query optimization
Experience with database schema design and normalization
Knowledge of indexes, constraints, and performance tuning
