Overview

JD 05A - BOM Engineer

Responsibilities

Perform modification/rework on the deliveries as requested

Maintain and upkeep all backup information associated to the delivered job in server location for future reference

Capture time spent for delivered job at appropriate location to measure the performance

Prepare documentation for new learnings/problem cases and share knowledge with other members

Attend Meetings, collate feedback and make reports

Work to ensure data integrity

Follow up stake holders, Document the results and prepare the reports to Top Management

Anticipate Project Milestone activities

Ensure Delivery Quality

Qualifications

Diploma / BE - Mech / Automobile

  1. Design Release
  2. BOM data search and status identification-L3
  3. Drawing issue/Change Release & Approval Request-L3
  4. Study of Design Release standards –L2
  5. Modification arrangements Release (Production)-L2
  6. Create new Part numbers as per the Vehicle design requirement –L3
  7. E-BoM Structure Creation & Update for Design Release –L3

 Additional Skill

  1. Japanese Language – Speaking.
  2. Automation development

 

  1. Remote Design Administration
  2. Master check DAN creation-L2
  3. Master check GIREN creation-L2
  4. G2B Downloads/MPL Downloads for Master check-L2
  5. Identify Check sheet answer & cases(Need/No need)-L2
  1. DIM
  1. Relevant design Information Management Experience.
  2. Excellent written and verbal English communication and influencing skills (internationally recognizable and free from strong local accent or regional colloquialisms)
  3. Able to support in cross-functional activities to resolve information management related issues / concerns.
  4. Able to interpret results / make recommendations for the project
  5. Expert Excel usage (creation and editing of macros, complex formula, data validation, data merging)
  6. Fully proficient at using other Microsoft Office packages
  7. Has relevant knowledge on the automotive industry
  8. Has relevant knowledge on the vehicle Development
  9. Understanding of IDEAS/TCE ,/NX /NXPDM operation
  10. Experience of development of CAD/BOM
