Overview

We are seeking an experienced ALM Soltuon Architect to be part of our Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) practice. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Siemens Polarion and a strong background in the ALM domain, with the ability to drive both technical delivery and strategic growth of the practice.

 

This role requires a blend of technical leadership, people management, and presales capabilities, along with hands-on experience in implementing and integrating ALM solutions in complex enterprise environments.

Responsibilities

Practice Leadership & Strategy

  • Build and scale the ALM practice, including capability development and team expansion
  • Establish best practices, frameworks, and reusable assets for ALM implementations
  • Drive innovation and digital transformation initiatives within the ALM domain

Technical Delivery

  • Lead end-to-end technical delivery of Siemens ALM (Polarion) solutions
  • Provide architectural guidance and hands-on expertise in Polarion and Teamcenter platforms
  • Oversee solution design, implementation, customization, and integration
  • Ensure delivery excellence, quality assurance, and adherence to timelines and budgets

Presales & Business Development

  • Lead presales activities including solutioning, RFP/RFI responses, and client presentations
  • Drive Proof of Concepts (POCs) and demos to showcase ALM capabilities
  • Collaborate with sales teams to identify opportunities and convert leads into business
  • Contribute to revenue growth and practice profitability

Client & Stakeholder Management

  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients on ALM strategy and implementation
  • Manage senior stakeholder relationships and ensure high customer satisfaction
  • Lead client workshops, requirement discussions, and solution roadmaps

Team Leadership & People Management

  • Build, mentor, and lead high-performing ALM teams
  • Drive hiring, training, and competency development within the practice
  • Foster a collaborative and performance-driven culture

Qualifications

Required Skills & Experience:

Domain Expertise

  • Strong experience in Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) domain
  • Deep understanding of product development lifecycle and engineering processes
  • Exposure to digital transformation initiatives in engineering/PLM/ALM space

Technical Expertise

  • Hands-on expertise in Siemens Polarion ALM
  • Strong experience with Teamcenter and PLM–ALM integrations
  • Experience in system integrations across enterprise tools (e.g., PLM, ERP, DevOps tools)
  • Knowledge of customization, configuration, and deployment of ALM solutions

Leadership & Management

  • Proven experience in leading large teams and managing delivery
  • Strong program and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience in handling multiple projects and accounts

Presales & Consulting

  • Strong experience in RFPs, RFIs, POCs, and solutioning
  • Ability to articulate technical solutions to business stakeholders
  • Experience in client engagement and consulting roles
