Key Responsibilities:
- Define problems, take initiative in containment actions to apply for customer protection (including supplier Issues)
- Do vehicle issue diagnosis and root cause analysis & track the Corrective actions till validation
- Ensure that his team carries out the pre-analysis activities on time
- Do risk assessments and lead corrective action plans
- Guarantee the product – process maturity of the components of his perimeter management of serial life (windows change management).
- Propose alternative product solution in case of issues (as shortage) to avoid stopping mass production in the plant
- Participate in Quality ENG tech clubs.
- Implementation of good idea and standards (Read Across)
- Ensure the right application in the plant of the technical requirements and the meta function “métiers” standards of his perimeter
- Ensure that the skills of his team are at the right level
- Ensure the management activities of his team (daily management control meeting)
- Ensure that his team is working in safety
- Lead quality KPI management to achieve quality objectives, driving improvement/corrective actions and escalation
- Resolution of systemic/chronic or major quality issues (Top Warranty, Recalls, …)
- Technical support Yard Holds / Product Related Issues (PRI’s) technical referent inside the PRI.
- Set-up / On-going Controls for Process / product Standards for Vehicle & System Functional Objectives (i.e., ADAS, BSR, FEA)
Key Performance Indicators
Quantitative KPIs including but not limited to:
- Problem Resolution - Time to fix, Time to close QAN/QIF delay
- Pre-analysis handling time (parts analysis back from the field) – Palantir-Foundry
- Deviations to handle Internal Plant Indicators (DRR, DVx, SCA, status/Repair vehicles, roll bench, wheel alignment, ADAS, Warranty KPI’s …)
- Containment & permanent action plan tracking
- Issues to escalate
- Safety issues handling time
- PPAP KPI (assembling test). Initial Samples verdict delay
- New issues detected by audit
- 3MIS Warranty (PPM)
- Safety KPI “STOP”
- 5S
