Design Engineer - NX
The candidate is responsible for CAD design of Compressor and Blower products, assemblies and components, complicated layout and detail drawings, bills of material, and/or technical machine composition assignments.
BE or BTech in mechanical engineering
• 2 - 5 year’s work experience in NX, preferably with complex mechanical components.
• Strong 3D CAD working knowledge of NX(Solid modeling, drafting, assembly).
• Strong proficiency on AutoCAD 2D mechanical.
• Overall work experience should not exceed 5 years.
• Thorough knowledge of drafting standards, symbols, nomenclature, engineering terms, bills of materials, proper use of material, GD&T, and engineering reference books and catalogs.
• Experience assisting in preparing detailed documents for projects that support the design, cost, bill of materials, and project timetables.
• Strong written and spoken communication skills required to be effective with internal and external customers.
• Ability to work independently, or with the cross-functional ETO engineering and new product development to produce detailed engineering documents and project deliverables.
• Team center & SAP experience is also a plus.
• Experience in compressor industry is a plus.
• Experience in Engineer to order (ETO) is a plus.
• Knowledge of conventional and non-conventional manufacturing processes is a plus.
• Project management experience is a plus.
• 2 - 5 year’s work experience in NX, preferably with complex mechanical components
