Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior SAP FICO Functional Consultant with a strong background in end-to-end SAP implementations and production support engagements. The ideal candidate should have worked on multiple full-cycle implementations and possess deep functional expertise in SAP FI & CO, along with strong business process understanding.

Responsibilities

  • Work as a key contributor in end-to-end SAP FICO implementation projects
  • Drive business requirement gathering workshops and translate requirements into SAP solutions
  • Perform system configuration in SAP FI & CO modules aligned with business needs
  • Contribute to solution design, gap analysis, and process optimization initiatives
  • Manage and execute global rollouts, upgrades, and enhancements
  • Provide L2/L3 production support and ensure timely resolution of critical issues
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for integration with MM, SD, PP, and other modules
  • Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes in SAP
  • Review and validate functional specifications for developments (RICEFW objects)
  • Ensure data accuracy, financial compliance, and audit readiness
  • Mentor junior consultants and guide team on best practices
  • Act as a key stakeholder interface for finance and accounting teams
 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, IT, or related field
  • SAP FICO Certification is an added advantage

Essential skills

  • Strong hands-on experience in:
    • General Ledger (GL)
    • Accounts Payable (AP)
    • Accounts Receivable (AR)
    • Asset Accounting (AA)
    • Bank Accounting
    • Cost Center Accounting (CCA)
    • Profit Center Accounting (PCA)
    • Profitability Analysis (COPA)
  • Proven experience in multiple end-to-end SAP implementation projects
  • Strong experience in production support and incident management
  • Deep understanding of financial business processes and accounting principles
  • Experience with cross-module integration (MM, SD, PP)
  • Hands-on experience in S/4HANA Finance (preferred)
  • Exposure to Fiori applications and reporting tools
 

Desired skills

  • Experience in S/4HANA implementations or migration projects
  • Exposure to global/multi-country rollouts
  • Strong knowledge of Indian taxation, GST, and statutory compliance
  • Experience in handling client-facing roles and stakeholder management
