Playwright Automation Engineer

We are looking for a skilled Automation Test Engineer with strong experience in Playwright using Java or JavaScript. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts, ensuring high-quality software delivery. This role requires strong analytical thinking, hands-on testing expertise, and the ability to work collaboratively within Agile teams.

• Design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks using Playwright (Java/JavaScript)
• Create, execute, and maintain automated test scripts for web applications
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into effective test scenarios and test cases
• Identify, log, track, and manage defects using defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA)
• Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to ensure quality deliverables
• Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives
• Ensure test coverage, test data management, and reporting of test results
• Continuously improve automation processes and frameworks for better efficiency and scalability

BE

• Strong hands-on experience with Playwright automation framework using Java or JavaScript
• Good understanding of automation testing concepts and frameworks (Page Object Model, Data-Driven, Hybrid frameworks)
• Solid experience in functional and automation testing
• Good knowledge of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) and STLC (Software Testing Life Cycle) processes
• Experience with version control tools such as Git
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins (preferred)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good understanding of test design techniques and debugging
