Role Summary
Seeking a skilled and client-focused Senior Quality Engineer with strong hands-on experience in UI, API, Mobile, and Mainframe automation. The role involves designing, developing, and continuously maintaining automation test scripts across multiple applications and platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks for UI, API, Mobile, and Mainframe testing.
- Collaborate closely with developers and business stakeholders to define, review, and refine test cases and Gherkin feature files.
- Implement reusable utility methods and modular step definitions to promote scalability and maintainability.
- Develop, execute, debug, and analyze automated test scripts to ensure quality and stability.
- Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub and Jenkins.
- Analyze automation test results, identify defects, log issues, and follow through with development teams to closure.
- Manage test data and environment configurations to ensure consistent and reliable test execution.
- Actively participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives, and contribute to continuous QA process improvement.

Required Skills and Experience:
- Strong hands-on expertise in Selenium, RestAssured and Appium with JAVA.
- Additional experience with Node.js-based automation frameworks such as WebDriverIO and Axios.
- Solid understanding of BDD using Cucumber, TestNG, Git, and Maven.
- Experience integrating automation with CI/CD tools like Jenkins and generating reports using Extent and Allure.
- Good knowledge of Agile methodologies, QE best practices, and the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
- Strong analytical, communication, and technical documentation skills.
- Familiarity with cloud-based testing platforms such as Lambda Test and Sauce Labs.
- Nice to have experience with performance testing tools like JMeter.
- Basic knowledge of SQL CRUD operations and experience working with Mainframe terminal screens.
