The Vehicle Assembly Engineering or Project Manager is responsible for leading and managing all engineering activities related to vehicle assembly operations. This role ensures efficient, safe, and high-quality assembly processes while driving continuous improvement and supporting new model launches.

Responsibilities

  1. Understand the client requirement , get complete clarity on the project scope ,
  2. Prepare technical proposals and work with CFT teams for necessary internal approvals before proposal submission 
  3. Set up a project organization, hiring new resource , if required , set up delivery teams based on the nature of project 
  4. Drive team for delivery of projects , own the project deliverables & KPI , Prepare and drive the improvement plans
  5. Handle day to day project management activities , client communication , updates to the leadership
  6. Plan for building of new capabilities for the team in order to win new clients 

Qualifications

 

  • Education - BE Mechanical or equivalent . 
  • Must be from Manufacturing Engineering background 
  • Engineer with overall 12 ~15 years of experience in Automotive field  
  • Minimum 5 years of project management experience
  • Knowledge of Design and Simulation softwares' 
  • Interested to learn new skills in digitization , AI , industry 4.0 and beyond
