Senior Technical Business Analyst

We are seeking a Technical Business Analyst ( 6 to 8 yrs of Experience) with strong SQL and cloud technology skills to support data-driven decision-making and cloud-based solution development. The role involves bridging business requirements with technical implementation, focusing on data analysis, cloud platforms, and system integrations.

Business & Requirements Analysis

• Gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements

• Translate business needs into detailed functional specifications

• Create user stories, use cases, and workflows

• Work closely with stakeholders to validate requirements

SQL & Data Analysis

• Write complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis

• Perform data validation, profiling, and reconciliation

• Analyze large datasets to identify trends and insights

• Support reporting and dashboard requirements

Cloud & Technical Responsibilities

• Work with cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform

• Understand cloud-based data services (data lakes, data warehouses like Amazon Redshift, Azure Synapse Analytics, BigQuery)

• Collaborate with engineering teams on cloud data pipelines and ETL processes

• Analyze system integrations and APIs

Documentation & Process Modeling

• Prepare BRD, FRD, and technical documentation

• Create data flow diagrams, ER diagrams, and process maps

• Maintain requirement traceability matrix (RTM)

Stakeholder Collaboration

• Act as a liaison between business users and technical teams

• Participate in Agile ceremonies (scrum, sprint planning, retrospectives)

• Support UAT, QA testing, and defect tracking

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field

• 6 to 8 years of experience as a Technical BA or Data Analyst/BA

• Certifications (optional but valuable):

  • AWS / Azure / GCP certifications

  • CBAP / CCBA

Technical Skills

• Strong SQL skills (joins, subqueries, CTEs, performance tuning)

• Experience with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Oracle)

• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)

• Understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL pipelines

• Familiarity with APIs, JSON, and system integrations

Tools & Technologies

• SQL tools: SSMS, DBeaver, or similar

• BI/Reporting tools: Power BI, Tableau

• Agile tools: Jira, Confluence

• Diagram tools: Visio, Lucidchart
