Senior TE - Payments for Banking Project

1. 1. Design, develop, and execute test plans, test scenarios, and test cases.
   2. Perform Functional, Integration, System, Regression, UAT, and End-to-End testing.
   3. Validate payment transaction lifecycles, including initiation, authorization, clearing, settlement, reconciliation, acknowledgements, retries, and exception handling.
   4. Test APIs, middleware, message queues, and microservices used in payment systems.
   5. Analyze SWIFT MT/MX messages, ISO 20022 formats, and payment processing workflows.
   6. Identify, log, track, and verify defects using tools such as JIRA.
   7. Work closely with Business Analysts, Developers, Product Owners, and Operations teams.
   8. Support production releases, certification testing, and post-production validation.
   9. Mentor junior testers and contribute to QA best practices

• Good understanding of payment systems and banking transactions.
• Experience with:
  • SWIFT MT/MX
  • ISO 20022
  • SEPA, RTP, ACH, Wire Payments, Cards, UPI (depending on organization)
• API Testing using Postman, SOAP UI, or Rest Assured.

4–7+ years of QA/Test Engineering experience.
