Overview

PLM Developer with 5-7 years of experience.

We are seeking a skilled Teamcenter Developer to support an API integration and testing project. The candidate will be responsible for analyzing Teamcenter business processes, identifying and utilizing existing SOA services, developing custom SOA services where required, and supporting API testing activities. The role involves close collaboration with business, development, and testing teams to ensure seamless integration between Teamcenter and external applications.

 

Responsibilities

 
  • Analyze Teamcenter business requirements and identify existing SOA services to support integration needs.
 
  • Develop, customize, and deploy Teamcenter SOA services based on project requirements.
 
  • Design and implement custom APIs and service extensions when standard Teamcenter services do not meet business needs.
 
  • Collaborate with API testing teams to provide service specifications, payload structures, and test scenarios.
 
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Teamcenter integrations, SOA services, and API transactions.
 
  • Develop and maintain reusable service components following Teamcenter development best practices.
 
  • Perform unit testing and support integration testing for developed services.
 
  • Work with business analysts and functional consultants to understand requirements and propose technical solutions.
 
  • Validate data exchange between Teamcenter and external enterprise systems.
 
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, including service design, deployment guides, and API specifications.
 
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure compliance with coding standards.
 
  • Support production deployments and post-go-live activities

 

Essential skills

 
  • Strong proficiency in:
    • Java
    • C++
    • Teamcenter ITK
    • Teamcenter SOA APIs
 
  • Experience in web services and API integration development.
