Requirements Discovery & Analysis
- Lead stakeholder workshops, discovery sessions, and business process assessments.
- Elicit, analyze, and document complex business requirements, customer needs, and operational challenges.
- Translate business objectives into epics, features, user stories, process flows, and acceptance criteria.
- Drive clarity and alignment across business, product, and technology stakeholders.
- Identify solution options, business impacts, risks, and dependencies to support decision-making.
Product & Sprint Backlog Leadership
- Partner with Product Managers and delivery teams to create, maintain, and refine product backlogs.
- Lead backlog refinement activities to ensure work is appropriately defined, sized, and prioritized.
- Ensure backlog items are delivery-ready and aligned with product objectives and roadmap commitments.
- Support sprint planning, release planning, and ongoing backlog health management.
- Provide recommendations on prioritization based on business value, customer impact, risk, dependencies, and delivery considerations.
- Lead and support change management initiatives to enable successful adoption of business and technology change.
Roadmap & Product Planning Support
- Contribute business, customer, and operational insights to product roadmap discussions.
- Assist Product Managers in evaluating enhancement opportunities, feature requests, and emerging business needs.
- Support release planning and sequencing of product capabilities across development increments.
- Utilize business insights, customer feedback, and available data to inform prioritization recommendations and product planning decisions.
Delivery & Quality Excellence
- Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, UX, QA and Validation teams throughout delivery lifecycle.
- Support testing, validation, and user acceptance activities to ensure solutions meet business needs.
- Drive resolution of requirement gaps, ambiguities, and delivery challenges.
- Participate in retrospectives and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance team effectiveness and product outcomes.
Stakeholder Collaboration & Leadership
- Build strong relationships across stakeholder groups and functional teams.
- Facilitate discussions that drive alignment, prioritization, and informed decision-making.
- Mentor and guide Business Analysts on requirements practices, Agile delivery, and backlog management.
- Promote best practices in documentation, requirements management, stakeholder engagement, and Agile ways of working.
- Serve as a trusted advisor on complex initiatives requiring strong analytical and facilitation skills.
Working Arrangements & Collaboration Expectations
- This hybrid role requires a minimum of three days per week in the Chennai office to support collaboration, planning, stakeholder engagement, Agile ceremonies, issue resolution, and key delivery milestones, with flexibility based on business needs.
