Project Manager

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead enterprise software delivery engagements within an IT services environment. The ideal candidate should have successfully managed fixed-cost software projects, possess strong technical understanding, and have significant experience working with banking and financial services clients. This role requires excellent customer management, delivery governance, and team leadership skills.

• Manage end-to-end delivery of multiple software development projects.
• Own project scope, schedule, budget, quality, and customer satisfaction.
• Lead fixed-cost/fixed-bid project execution while ensuring profitability and delivery commitments.
• Prepare project plans, resource plans, risk registers, and mitigation strategies.
• Work closely with Technical Leads and Solution Architects to ensure technical alignment and successful execution.
• Monitor project health through regular governance, status reporting, and milestone tracking.
• Manage customer communication, steering committee meetings, and executive reporting.
• Handle scope management, change requests, and commercial discussions.
• Identify delivery risks proactively and implement mitigation plans.
• Ensure adherence to SDLC, Agile/Scrum, and organizational quality processes.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including Development, QA, DevOps, Business Analysis, and Support.
• Drive continuous process improvement and delivery excellence.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• PMP, PRINCE2, Scrum Master, or Agile certifications are desirable.

• Strong understanding of software architecture and modern application development.
• Excellent project planning, estimation, budgeting, and resource management skills.
• Expertise in Agile, Scrum, and traditional project management methodologies.
• Strong stakeholder and client management capabilities.
• Experience with project management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Microsoft Project, or similar platforms.
• Excellent risk management and escalation handling skills.
• Strong commercial awareness with focus on project profitability.

• 12–15 years of experience in software project management.
• Mandatory experience working in IT Services companies.
• Strong track record of delivering fixed-cost/fixed-price enterprise projects.
• Experience managing distributed and cross-functional teams.
• Extensive customer-facing experience with enterprise clients.
• Banking and Financial Services domain experience is highly preferred.
• Experience managing projects involving Java, Python, cloud technologies, APIs, and enterprise integration.
